Venvia Invites

Terms of use

What you can do with the designs

Short terms for a free tool. The parts most people are looking for are what you may do with the templates you download, and the reminder to check a proof before a print run.

01Using the site

Venvia Invites is free to use, with no account and no payment. By using it you agree to the terms on this page.

You may use the site for your own invitations, personal or commercial — a shop opening card is as welcome as a wedding one. What you write on your invitation is yours, and you are responsible for it.

Please do not use the site to produce anything unlawful, to impersonate someone, or to attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it.

02The templates, artwork and elements

The designs, the element library and the site itself belong to us. You are given a licence to use them for the invitations you make here, and that licence is generous on purpose:

  • Make as many invitations as you like, for yourself or for clients, and print or send them however you wish.
  • You may sell the invitations you create. You may not sell, redistribute or sub-license the templates or elements themselves, as templates or as an asset pack.
  • No credit is required, and there are no watermarks on anything you download.
  • The artwork is ours to license to you. We do not use stock artwork whose terms would forbid this, which is why the library is drawn from work we own outright.

03Photos and text you add

Anything you add to a design stays yours. Because it never leaves your browser, we could not claim rights over it even if we wanted to — we never receive it.

You do need the right to use what you add. A photograph you did not take, or a logo that is not yours, is your responsibility to clear.

04Your saved designs

Designs are saved in your own browser rather than on a server. That means we cannot recover them for you, and they can be lost in ways that are outside our control: clearing your browsing data, a private window closing, or a browser reclaiming storage space.

If a design matters, download it. A downloaded PNG, JPG or PDF is a real file on your device and is the only copy that does not depend on this browser.

05No warranty, and the limits of our liability

The site is provided as it is. We work hard to make the exports accurate and have tested them, but we cannot promise the site will always be available, or that a file will be exactly right for every printer's requirements.

Check a proof before committing to a print run. Colours shift between screens and presses, and a print shop's bleed and trim requirements are theirs to confirm — that check is yours to make, and it is the one step we cannot do for you.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site, including a printing cost, a missed date or a lost design. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

06Changes and availability

The site is developed continually. Templates and elements may be added, improved or withdrawn, and a design saved in your browser refers to the artwork as it was when you saved it.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the current version is always the one on this page.

07Who you are agreeing with, and which law applies

The site is operated by HEXAVO, which you can reach at infotech@hexavo.co.uk.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights you have under your own local law.
